Dr. Enrique Alvarado, a graduate in Medicine with a specialization in Anesthesiology and Resuscitation from Hospital de Sant Pau, has extensive additional training in Perioperative Medicine, Pain Management, and Hospital Administration. His ongoing professional development in ERAS protocols, multimodal anesthesia, and surgical patient management allows him to offer medical practice aligned with the latest advancements.

With over 15 years of professional experience, he has worked in leading hospitals and clinics in Barcelona, ​​serving as surgical unit coordinator, medical director, and coordinator of Anesthesia teams in various private hospitals. Currently, he is the Head of the Anesthesia Department at Monarka Clinic, where he designs safe preoperative assessment pathways and ensures comprehensive patient support before, during, and after surgery.

Among his most notable achievements is the founding of “Anestesiólogo Barcelona,” a leading team in Catalonia specializing in anesthesia for private surgery. He also serves as a medical advisor to several hospital groups in Catalonia and collaborates on innovative projects focused on outpatient surgery and accelerated recovery.
