Dr. Ivan Ibáñez

Dr. Ivan Ibáñez is a renowned physician specializing in exercise physiology, longevity, and metabolic nutrition. He is the President of ESCAR (European Society of Calorimetry & Respirometry). He was a pioneer in conducting studies of energy metabolism at rest and during exercise in the treatment of overweight and obesity in Spain. He is a national and international speaker at symposia and congresses related to metabolism, overweight and obesity, nutrition, lipedema, exercise prescription, longevity medicine, and clinical preconditioning with intermittent hypoxia. He is also a science communicator and a professor at the University of Barcelona in the Master’s Program in Longevity and at the European University of Madrid in the Master’s Program in Intermittent Hypoxia.
